1 C milk ( dairy or plant-based)
1 T pure maple syrup
3 T chia seeds

Stir together in a glass container. Stir periodically until it starts to set. Give it one more good stir, then refrigerate for several hours or overnight. 

I like to layer it with pureed or mashed fruit and top it with granola.
